During the weekend of 22 to 24 January hundreds of beekeepers have had the opportunity to learn all about the Melixa System, with dedicated sessions during two different important conferences. The first was organized by APAS, the beekeepers association of Campania, which combines about 200 beekeepers with a total of 25,000 hives, and was held on the 22nd and 23rd of January 2016 in Pietradefusi (AV). It was a technical conference focused on nomadism and role of bacteria and probiotics on bees. Melixa System is an essential tool for those who practice nomadism, thanks to the ability to remotely control the activity of the bees, and follow the evolution of flowering.
The second conference was organized by the Association of Beekeepers of the Province of Udine and was held on January 24, 2016 in the Congress Hall of the exhibition center in Udine-Gorizia. The conference was divided into four sessions focused on technology and research to support the production and promotion of bee products. Following an update on the situation of beekeeping in the province of Udine, the discussion focused on fraud on honey and traditional honeys. Finally, a session was dedicated to Melixa System, presenting the experiences so far undertaken to demonstrate the effectiveness of the solution in the improvement of the activities of beekeeper and consequent enhancement of production.
